Pikake is the Hawaiian name for Jasmine, a popular lei flower in Hawaii. The Pikake flower was brought to the Hawaiian islands in the 1800’s and is a symbol of romance and love. Hawaii’s Princess Kaiulani loved the jasmine flower as well as peacocks, and named this flower after the Hawaiian word for peacock- pikake.
